Senior Members in the Civil Air Patrol

The Rockland Squadron is a cadet squadron. What does that mean? It means our squadron is dedicated to the leadership development of cadets, males and females aged 12-21, who seek to learn about aerospace education, emergency service to our country, state and community, and the disciplines associated with being an auxiliary arm of the United States Air Force.

Our aim is to prepare cadets for leadership by encouraging them to take on greater and greater responsibilities. Cadets build confidence and self-esteem, which benefits them as they apply to college, jobs, and especially ROTC programs and the various military academies. Our ultimate goal is develop strong citizens who can become leaders in their communities.

By teaching discipline, respect and an inner striving for excellence, we offer cadets a chance to discover their potential and apply it to their daily lives and pursuits. Senior members serve as guides and role models. We're here to build cadets up and prepare them for a great future.
